Chemical industry

The chemical industry regards the processing of raw materials (including oil, natural gas, air, water, metals and minerals) for the obtainment of products having different physical-chemical properties compared to the starting raw materials.

Primary chemical

Tecno Cad Service provides thecnical support for the activities of the basic industrial sector which is engaged in production, starting from raw materials such as oil and natural gas, of relatively simple chemical compounds then used as a starting point for further transformations.
The primary chemical industry is therefore closely linked to the industry of mining and to the oil industry. The primary characteristic of the chemical industry is to operate on a large scale (large amounts of materials and large size of the installations).

Petrochemical industry

The petrochemical industry is a separate section but closely related to the primary. It is mainly engaged in the production of semi-finished products using natural gas or hydrocarbon fractions from petroleum distillation as raw material. This industry is characterized by large capacity and low added value pe runit of product. Petrochemical plants are then distinguished by the large size whose upper limit is mainly dictated by the available technology and shipbuilding.
