In Italy the production of electricity takes place mainly through the use of non renewable energy sources and increasingly through renewable sources. The remaining energy demand is met by purchasing energy from abroad (estimated at 14% in 2014).
The non-renewable italian energy production is made exclusively from the production of energy through the burning of fossil fuels in thermal power plants (more than 72% of total national production). Most of these plants are fueled by natural gas, coal and petroleum derivatives.
The electricity produced instead through renewable sources is, according to 2014 data, 43% of national production with the main contribution of hydroelectric power plants.
Tecno Cad Service realizes projects for the generation, distribution and energy control adapting established technologies to the new specific uses. To ensure efficient results special attention has paid to safety, durability and reliability for the development of cogeneration plants, district heating plants, waste-to-energy and industrial plants in general.
